SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY AND THE COMMUNITY'S YOUTH

Now in its 30th year, The Walnut Creek Civic Pride Foundation (formerly the Walnut Creek Fountain for Youth Foundation) has enriched the lives of countless community members by raising funds and providing support for organizations that benefit the community and the community’s youth.

Through Walnut Creek Community Service Day, the Civic Pride Community Grant Program and fundraising for the All Abilities Playground at Heather Farm Park (2014) and the Splash Playground at Larkey Pool (2016-17), the Foundation builds a stronger community for families and youth. Learn more.

ON COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY

More than 30 volunteers -- including teens from the Northgate High School TAPS organization and volunteers from Nordstrom Walnut Creek -- came out on Sat., Oct. 8 to help with the annual clean-up of the Playground at Heather Farm Park.

The Civic Pride Foundation raised more than $370,000 in private funds for the playground, which helped to fund benches, shade structures, and the resilient playground surface. Thank you donors! Check our Donor Wall.
