Supporting the
Walnut Creek community and the community's youth since 1992
Since 2005, hundreds of girls have participated in the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Walnut Creek, a developmental junior golf program that connects girls, ages 7 to 17, with the game of golf.
The LPGA-USGA Girls Golf is the only national initiative of its kind and offers girls an opportunity to make lasting friendships, gain self-confidence, and learn to compete and have fun, while fostering a lifetime enjoyment for the game.
Walnut Creek Girls Golf
Girls work with an LPGA or PGA instructor to learn the basics in rules, etiquette, full swing, short game and putting. The Walnut Creek Girls Golf program is offered at Boundary Oak Golf Course.
Prior to 2016, the Walnut Creek Civic Pride Foundation managed the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Walnut Creek group. Since 2016, the program is managed by First Tee of Contra Costa. For more information, check the First Tee website.
